The number of people worldwide infected with the new coronavirus has exceeded 600,000 and the disease is continuing to spread.
It is spread from person to person mainly through the droplets produced when an infected person speaks, coughs or sneezes.
However, recently, a cat in Belgium tested positive for COVID-19.
The good thing is that animals are not at risk from coronavirus if you are symptom-free. So stay home and do not leave it unless absolutely necessary, such as to seek medical care. The best place for people and their pets is at home, together.
