Update: Frozen Kitty Gets Second Chance.
A fluffy cat got frozen into an icy puddle in Russia and could not escape. A friendly couple found her and poured warm water over her trapped paw. They eventually freed the animal and wrapped her in a coat to warm her up

This fluffy cat thought she was about to lose one of her nine lives when her paw became frozen in a puddle.

But, luckily for her, a Russian couple swooped in to save the day, freeing her by warming her with both water – and their hearts.

This video shows the chilly cat shivering as it sits on the ground, with its paw tucked underneath its body.

But when the couple lifted the cat up, they found that its front right paw was stuck in an icy puddle.

The kind couple quickly filled a bucket with warm water and carefully poured it over the cat’s trapped leg.

They say cats do not like water, but this one – thought to be a Norwegian forest cat – remained calm as the pair tried to help it out of the ice.

The couple eventually managed to free the cat as the ice thawed, but her paws were still too cold to move.

The cat, who was otherwise fine apart from being severely cold, was wrapped up in a coat and carried inside to get warm.

The video is believed to have been filmed in Russia earlier this week.

He had been blocked, with frozen feet under the snow, destined to certain death. It was saved by a couple with dissolved the ice trapping the hot water and then cover it in a blanket.
